Tour Overview:
Uganda is the source of the world’s longest river, which originates from Lake Victoria in Jinja. This place has got very powerful rapids that will give you a very unique rafting experience. You will Visit Murchison falls National park, Lake Mburo National Park, Kibale forest National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
Day 1; Arrival & Kampala city tour.
On arrival, you will be met by our company representative at Entebbe airport and either; transfer to Cassia lodge first and later proceed for the city tour or; head straight to Kampala and begin the city tour. That will depend on how much luggage you’ll be carrying and how fresh you will be feeling. You will visit the Bahai temple, Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo, Uganda museum, the craft village among others. Have lunch and later be transferred to Cassia Lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison falls
after breakfast you will drive to Murchison falls national park. It will take you around 5hours from Kampala with about 305 km. You will enter through Kichumbanyobo gate. Paara covers a distance of about 85km from Masindi town by the shortest route. You will visit the top of the falls and then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sambiya river lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise
you will enjoy early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Drive From Muchison to Queen Elizabeth National park
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. This is a full day drive and you will have lunch en-route.

Day 5: Game drive and launch cruise
you will go for an early morning a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Kisoro
After a very early morning breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest around 6-00 am for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Later embark on an exciting road trip and Transfer To Kisoro (Lunch en route), arriving late evening, meet the Batwa pygmies, the oldest inhabitants of the Central African rain forest and share their culture.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking, Transfer to Bunyonyi lake
you will have early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guide and later head into the forest trekking until you encounter the mountain gorillas. This could take 4-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. On finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with these gentle giants and later return and transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP, Game drive and boat ride
you will have an early morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo National park where you will arrive well in time for lunch. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and later go for an afternoon boat ride where you will encounter a number of birds and enjoy the experience! Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Game drive and Transfer back to Kampala
enjoy early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo also graze these areas. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch, then drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for photography and the equator experience. Proceed to Kampala arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Airport transfer
after breakfast you will be transferred to Entebbe airport for your flight back home with fond memories of this best Uganda safari!
