Day 1: Arrival at the airport and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to endangered rhinos, and you will have the opportunity to track these magnificent creatures and learn about ongoing conservation efforts. Enjoy the serene surroundings and settle into your accommodation for the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will witness the beautiful landscapes and diverse flora and fauna of Uganda. Upon reaching the park, you will have the chance to relax and explore the surroundings. Prepare for an exciting adventure ahead.

Day 3: Game drive and Boat Safari on the River Nile

Today, you will embark on a thrilling game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. With the guidance of experienced rangers, you will have the opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the River Nile, where you can witness hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species. The highlight of the boat safari is reaching the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for Kibale Forest National Park. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes, passing by local communities and lush greenery. Upon reaching Kibale Forest, settle into your accommodation at Chimpundu Lodge and prepare for an exciting adventure in search of chimpanzees.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in their natural habitat

Today is dedicated to an unforgettable experience of chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the dense forest, listening for the sounds of these incredible primates. Once you encounter the chimpanzees, observe their behaviour and learn about their social dynamics. Along the way, you may also spot other primate species and various bird species, making this a truly immersive wildlife experience.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy the scenic drive and keep an eye out for wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival at the park, settle into your accommodation and prepare for the adventures that await.

Day 7: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to the Ishasha sector

Today, start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly even the elusive leopard. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your cameras ready as you search for these unique feline inhabitants.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This forest is home to the critically endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through local villages and stunning landscapes. Upon reaching Bwindi Forest, settle into your accommodation and prepare for an incredible experience the next day.

Day 9: Mountain Gorilla Trekking

Today is the highlight of your safari – the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced trackers, you will embark on a trek through the dense forest, following the trails of these gentle giants. Once you find a gorilla group, spend a magical hour observing and photographing them from a close distance. It is a rare and humbling experience that will leave a lasting impression.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After the gorilla trek, we will transfer to the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy the scenic drive as you descend from the mountains to the beautiful lakeside. Lake Bunyonyi is known for its tranquility and scenic beauty, with numerous small islands scattered across its sparkling waters. Relax and unwind in this peaceful setting.

Day 11: Explore Lake Bunyonyi islands

Today, embark on a boat excursion to explore the islands of Lake Bunyonyi. Visit some of the islands, interact with the local communities, and learn about their culture and way of life. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. You may also have the opportunity to engage in optional activities such as canoeing or hiking.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, we will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park in Uganda. Despite its size, it is home to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, and numerous bird species. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation preferably Emburara Farm Lodge and prepare for a rewarding wildlife experience.

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala via the equator

After breakfast, we will depart for Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. En route, we will stop at the equator for a memorable photo opportunity, where you can stand in both hemispheres simultaneously. Continue the journey to Kampala and settle into your accommodation, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your safari.

Day 14: River Nile water rafting

Today, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure as you experience the thrill of water rafting on the legendary River Nile. Accompanied by experienced guides, navigate through the rapids, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and the rush of the powerful river. It is a thrilling and memorable experience for adventure enthusiasts.

Day 15: Transfer back to Entebbe Airport for departure

After breakfast, we will transfer back to Entebbe Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari. Depart with incredible memories, diverse wildlife encounters, and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the “Pearl of Africa.”
