DAY 1
Description
Kampala offers a range of sightseeing experience, a visit to the iconic landmarks, the Uganda National Museum and craft markets in Kampala among others. Kampala City can best be described as small but buzzling with activity. The sightseeing tour is designed to give you a general feel and overview of the history of Uganda, Daily way of life of the People, the Ganda Culture, who are the main inhabitants in Kampala, historical sites, the National Museum, entertainment spots, most popular eat-outs and lots more.
The Ndere Cultural centre is a home of all Uganda cultures and the Kampala Cultural Night. It’s built on 9 acres of well-maintained green, beautifully flowered walk ways and with fruit and other African trees. The rare architectural design of the Ndere Centre is a seamless combination of artistic creativity with simplicity that takes African forms, materials, colours and construction to unprecedented heights. The Kampala Cultural Centre is tranquillity at its best enabling you to enjoy a blissful artistic creativity of Uganda and African music and performances. Activity
• Arrival at Entebbe airport.
• You will be picked and dropped at four points by Sheraton Hotel Kampala. Check inn and refresh –0500 hrs.
• Lunch will be served at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala, thereafter, there will be a brief from the host 1400 hrs.
• After lunch, the team will depart the hotel to visit the city and do some shopping – 1400hrs to 1700 hrs.
• After the city experience, the team will proceed to Ndere Cultural Centre – 1800 hrs – 1700 hrs. This will proceed until 2100 hrs. Dinner will be served at the centre at 2000hrs.
• After 2100 hrs, the team will leave Ndere Centre, those interested will be driven to a designated venue where they will enjoy the night life in Kampala – 2100 hrs. After enjoying the night, the team will be dropped back to the hotel at around 0100 hrs

DAY 2
Description
Kibale National Park is a national park in western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rainforest. It is 766 square kilometres (296 sq mi) in size and ranges between 1,100 metres (3,600 ft) and 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) in elevation. Despite encompassing primarily moist evergreen forest, it contains a diverse array of landscapes. Kibale is one of the last remaining expanses to contain both lowland and montane forests. In eastern Africa, it sustains the last significant expanse of pre-montane forest. The park was gazetted in 1932 and formally established in 1993 to protect a large area of forest previously managed as a logged forest reserve. The park forms a continuous forest with Queen Elizabeth National Park. This adjoining of the parks creates a 180 kilometres (110 mi) wildlife corridor. It is an important ecotourism and safari destination, well-known for its population of habituated chimpanzees and twelve other species of primates. It is also the location of the Makerere University Biological Field Station.
Activity
• Early morning departure after breakfast to Kibale Forest with a brief stopover at Mubende – 0800 hrs – 1200 hrs
• Depart Mubende then proceed straight to Fort Portal, check inn at the chimpundu lodge and refresh and have lunch – 1400 hrs
• Depart the Hotel and drive to the King’s Palace. Tour the King’s palace and get to learn more about the history of the area and the monarchy – 1400 hrs to 1500 hrs
• Depart the King’s Palace and proceed to mabere ga nyina mwiru in Nyakasura
• Depart Mabere ga nyina Mwiru then head back to the hotel to refresh – 1630 hrs – 1730hrs
• Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu lodge

DAY 3
Activity
• After breakfast, you will proceed for Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale Forest – 0800 hrs to 0830 hrs
• Upon arrival, you will be briefed by the tour guide on the regulations and safety procedures at Bigodi sanctuary. Tracking will take at least 3 hrs – 0830 – 0930 hrs
• Tracking of the Chimps – 0930 hrs to 1230 hrs
• After successful tracking of the chimps, the team will be served lunch – 1230 hrs to 1400hrs
• After lunch, you will have an opportunity to visit the host community in order to interact with them and learn their culture – 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs
• After a successful day at Bigodi sanctuary and the community, the team will be dropped back to the hotel to refresh and have dinner. Overnight stay will be at……. – 1600 hrs to 1630 hrs.

DAY 4
Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) is in the Western Region of Uganda, spanning the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi, and Rukungiri. The park is approximately 400 kilometres (250 mi) by road south-west of Kampala, Uganda’s capital and largest city. The city of Kasese lies to the northeast of the park, while the town of Rubirizi is to the southeast. The park adjoins Kyambura Game Reserve to the east, which itself adjoins the Kigezi Game Reserve (including the Maramagambo Forest) and thus the Kibale National Park to the northeast. The Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo lies across the border to the west. Together, these protected places completely encircle Lake Edward. The Rwenzori Mountains National Park in Uganda lies not far to the northwest.
QENP occupies an estimated 1,978 square kilometers (764 sq mi). The park is known for its abundantwildlife,including African elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, chimpanzee and lion. Overall, the park is home to 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species.[15] The area around Ishasha in Rukungiri District is famous for its tree-climbing lions, whose males often sport black manes.[16] In 2020, Uganda Wildlife Authority executive director Samuel John Mwandha stated that the wildlife in park has been increasing in the last five years

ACTIVITY
• After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through Queen Elizabeth National Park/Rukugiri depending on the condition of the road. The distance is approximate 371 kms. The team will have a chance to stop at various points for photography sessions and have a feel of the game drive and cruise experience at Queen Elizabeth National Park. The team will have lunch enroute at a designated point
• You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest late in the evening. Upon checking Inn and having refreshed, you will have dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge
• The entire journey will take 12 hrs. From 0700 hrs to 1900 hrs.

DAY 5
Description
The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) is in southwestern Uganda. The park is part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and is situated along the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) border next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the Albertine Rift. Composed of 321 square kilometres (124 sq mi) of both montane and lowland forest, it is accessible only on foot. BINP is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization-designated World Heritage Site. Species diversity is a feature of the park. It provides habitat for 120 species of mammals, 348 species of birds, 220 species of butterflies, 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos, and many endangered species. Floristically, the park is among the most diverse forests in East Africa, with more than 1,000 flowering plant species, including 163 species of trees and 104 species of ferns. The northern (low elevation) sector has many species of Guineo – Congolian flora, including two endangered species, the brown mahogany and Brazzeialongipedicellata. In particular, the area shares in the high levels of endemisms of the Albertine Rift. The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. 14 habituated mountain gorilla groups are open to tourism in four different sectors of Buhoma, Ruhijja, Rushaga and the Nkuringo in the Districts of Kanungu, Kabale and Kisoro respectively all under the management of Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Activity
• After breakfast, you will proceed to the briefing grounds where your tour guide and ranger will be waiting. After the brief, you will ascend to the mountains to track the Gorillas. The tracking will take at least 4 hrs – 0800 hrs to 1300 hrs
• Lunch will be served at the venue – 1300 hrs to 1400 hrs
• Upon successful tracking, you will visit the host community around the forest, get to learn their culture especially from the Batwa, get to know sustainability projects undertaken by woman around the destination – 1400 hrs to 1630 hrs.
• After interacting with the community, you will be dropped back to the hotel to refresh, relax and have dinner. Overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 6
After breakfast, the team will depart for Kampala. This journey will take a whole day. Time of departure will be 0800 hrs and expected time of arrival will be 2100 hrs. There will be a brief stopover along the way for lunch and other refreshment.
• You will arrive in Kampala at 2100 hrs, thereafter check in at Nature Forest Resort which is situated by the shore of Lake Victoria. Dinner will be served by the beach (depending on the weather).
• Arrangements will be made for those who wish to proceed for night life in Kampala.

Day 7
• After breakfast, at around 0800 hrs, the team will have a debrief with Uganda Tourism Board and a mini B2B session with Uganda Tourism Association (Private sector) Travel Trade.
• The venue for this event will be advised by the host.
• While here, the team will be able to report on their 6 nights experience in Uganda.
• There will be a media brief, photo sessions and media interviews.
• Lunch will be served at 1300 hrs thereafter; the team will be free until departure to the airport at 1430 hrs.
