OVERVIEW OF 3 DAYS KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Kidepo National Park is located near karenga in kaabong district in northeastern Uganda. It is the most isolated park in Uganda but the few who make the journey to this park would agree that it is also the most magnificent. It ranks among Africa’s finest wilderness. 2 rivers that are river Kidepo and river Narus transect the park.
Kidepo lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys of Karamoja province between Uganda’s borders with Sudan and Kenya. It is 700km from Kampala Uganda’s capital and largest city.
Day 1: Depart from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park
Early morning after breakfast, driver/guide will pick you from the hotel/place of residence to Kidepo Valley National Park. Pass through Karuma where you will get a chance of viewing the beautiful karuma falls, proceed to Gulu district head to Kitgum then reach in Kidepo valley national park, Lunch en route and arrival is late in the afternoon. Check in at your reserved accommodation for diner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and cultural visits in Kidepo valley national park
Early in the morning, have a cup of tea/coffee head to the park for a game drive where you will remark on beautiful scenery, mammals like Giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, cheetah lions leopards among others. Bird species including Ostriches, vultures, secretary birds etc. after the game drive transfer to the lodge for refreshment, breakfast and lunch. Later in the afternoon get a chance to interact with the karamajongs see their ways of living, food and many other things about their culture. After transfer to the safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Have breakfast – transfer to Kampala
Early morning after breakfast, check out of the safari lodge and travel back to Entebbe/Kampala, lunch en route then reach in Kampala late in the afternoon
